Responsibilities Level 1:
* Perform basic maintenance on equipment, both electrical and mechanical
* Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with schedule.
* Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures with applicable federal, state, and local codes, regulations, and requirements.
* Reviews daily maintenance schedule to ensure all jobs are complete in a timely manner, with minimal interference with production.
* Provide assistance and support for emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during machine service.
* Maintain good housekeeping in all areas.
* Handle company equipment with care.
* Responds quickly to inquiries and follows up as needed.
* Is available to work overtime when required, including weekends.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Production Support Manager.
Qualifications Level 1:
* Minimum of 1 years’ experience
* Must have excellent verbal, written and listening skills and have the ability to provide written and verbal instructions and present information clearly.
* Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, technical documents, and troubleshooting guides.
* Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
* Must have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* Must have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
* Must exhibit professionalism when communicating with superiors and subordinates.
* Must be able to pay attention to detail.
