Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Programmer our NYS Statewide Financial Systems Team located in Albany, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
The consultant will be performing application development tasks including:
Automating test scripts executions
Test data set creation
Writing and executing Test Plans
Researching, resolving, and testing defects
Participating in all phases of the Systems development life cycle including Application Testing (Unit, Functional, Integration, User Acceptance Testing) and Performance Testing.
Special projects as required
Training other staff
Experience Required:
84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
84 months of experience designing and documenting technical solutions and the test plans needed to validate that the business/system needs and requirements are met.
60 Months experience creating and executing test scripts for Quality assurance, User Acceptance, Regression, and Performance Testing using tools such as Quality Center, Loadrunner, Selenium and PeopeSoft Testing Framework.
36 months of experience developing, troubleshooting or providing production support of customizations, interfaces and programs in a PeopleSoft 9.x Financials environment utilizing PeopleTools and Oracle Data Integrator.
24 Months serving in a technical lead capacity in a PeopleSoft ERP in any combination of at least two of the following modules:
Accounts Payable
Travel and Expense
Accounts Receivable
Billing
General Ledger
Commitment Control
Project Costing
Inventory
Real Estate Assets
Asset Management
Grants
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $53.00 and $63.00.
