You will work with internal and external customers to generate design plans while providing advance-level technical support and troubleshoots a variety of technical products

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares new product formulations to the design criteria specified by customers with a primary focus on medium complexity modifications of existing products and will collaborate with sales force and customers to collect application targets
  • Demonstrates and develops expertise in specific formulation chemistries
  • Analyzes products using laboratory instruments, procedures, and test methods
  • Documents all laboratory plans, processes, and results in electronic laboratory notebook
  • Compiles information into reports to inform and recommend actions for technical problems and opportunities
  • Provides recommendations for continuous improvement and actively participates on improvement teams. May include plans for addition of new equipment or instrumentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of professional related work experience
  • Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related field is required
  • Very good customer service skills with ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
  • Track record of responding promptly to customer needs while soliciting customer feedback to improve service
  • Demonstrated high-level of technical skill with propensity to continuously pursue training and development opportunities
  • Observes safety and security procedures to identify and report on potentially unsafe conditions
  • History of using lab and other equipment and materials properly
