The Opportunity:
As the Student Engagement Program Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to support student retention through the daily administration of the Carson Career Amplifier Program (CCAP), a co-curricular career development program required for all undergraduate business students. Your duties will include:
Technical and problem solving tasks: Generating reports from several different student records systems, entering activity details into the Suitable tracking system, generating QR codes, troubleshooting and resolving issues for students and campus partners, grading students' written submissions, and educating students about Amplifier program requirements, submission process, and deadlines.
Collaborate/Communication tasks: Serving as a liaison with academic departments and partners on all campuses, researching and compiling event information from partners and assigning events to appropriate CCAP levels/badges, ensuring events are accurately displayed in the Suitable platform, providing event hosts with instructions for students to satisfy Amplifier badge, and assisting Carson Center teams with the coordination of Amplifier events and activities.
Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two (2) years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Experience coordinating on-going programs, events, and/or services.
Experience creating reports and managing/maintaining accurate records in a database.
Self-motivated, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work effectively under stress and regular interruptions.
Experienced at being resourceful and researching options to resolve problems.
Strong customer service experience.
Proven ability to function effectively as a team member.
Experience with Microsoft Office, and strong experience with Excel.
Ability to quickly learn and use new databases and student records management systems.
Strong attention to detail, follow through, and consistency in meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
Past internship experience.
Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, and lead programs/processes.
Strong technical and independent problem-solving experience.
Experience working in higher education.
Knowledge of or experience using Washington State University's student records system, scholarship databases, and knowledge of WSU's operations, policies, and procedures.

Monthly Salary: $3,477 to $4,632 | Range 40, Steps A to M | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
