Summary of Duties:


Under the guidance of the Pesticide Resources and Education Program leadership, the Pesticide Resources and Education Program Spanish Support Specialist will support the Spanish Education Program. The Spanish Support Specialist will support Washington State's growing demand for Spanish pesticide training. The position will support the administrative operations of the WSU Pesticide Resources and Education Program in Pullman, Washington. This role will develop and manage relationships between Pesticide Resources and Education Program's Pullman and Puyallup team members, clientele, and pesticide regulatory agencies.





Required Qualifications:




  • A Bachelor's degree OR equivalent education/experience.




  • Proficient in speaking Spanish and English.




  • Strong verbal and written Spanish and English communication skills.




  • Organization and time management skills.




  • Proficiency with standard office software.




  • Attention to detail.




  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple priorities.




  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.







Preferred Qualifications:




  • Able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.




  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
