Job Description:

United Wholesale Mortgage is hiring a Data Platform Engineer for an on-site position in Pontiac, MI. Duties: Install, configure and monitor new Data Platform instances and conduct upgrades and patch applications; support Kafka, Redis and NoSql platforms; resolve performance issues; deploy infrastructure across multiple environments; possess overall understanding of IT architecture, infrastructure standards, database, caching and middleware platforms, programming languages and tools, including Apache Kafka, Redis distributed cache, MondDB, Linux, C#, Java; apply Data Management philosophies to existing and future architectures; document reoccurring processes; provide accurate resource and capacity planning; utilize various ingestion methods (CSV, Flat File, RESTful, JSON, AVRO); develop applications integrations. Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Studies or related and 12 months experience building and maintaining infrastructure in cloud and on premises, and building CI/CD pipelines.
