This program is not designed for graduates. Work will be performed at a surface lignite coal mine. Job Description: Duties/Tasks: Support and assist with accounting related functions Process daily and monthly financial reports Compile and enter data Assist with analysis, research, and budget preparation Perform job duties in accordance with MSHA law and regulations, established safety procedures, and state and federal environmental regulations Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Customer service oriented with a strong work ethic Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, as well as individually with minimal supervision Thorough understanding of Microsoft operating systems and applications Protect the organization by keeping information confidential Ability to take direction in a fast-paced environment Educational Requirements: Enrolled in two- or four-year accounting or finance related program and in good academic standing.
