Job Description: Duties/Tasks: Utilize current technology to develop methods and procedures Work with a variety of mine equipment to improve efficiency in support of mine operations Work with data to produce reports Perform job duties in accordance with MSHA law and regulations, established safety procedures, and state and federal environmental regulations Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong work ethic with effective communication skills and a creative and innovative attitude Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, as well as individually with minimal supervision Advanced knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office Applications, Auto Cad, Mine planning software and Mineware monitoring systems Work outdoors in extreme weather conditions Valid Driver’s License Educational Requirements: Enrolled in an accredited engineering program and in good academic standing.
