Adams & Associates is hiring a Recreation Supervisor for the Grafton Job Corps Center. Our campus is located in North Grafton, MA about 45 miles west of Boston.

Our ideal candidate would feel very comfortable working with and connecting with Young Adults and has experience working with young adults from diverse backgrounds, and would be able to educate, discipline, and have fun with our students.

Schedule is Tuesday-Thursday 1pm-10pm, Friday & Saturday 3pm-12pm with Sunday and Monday Off.

The pay for this position is $42,000 annually, and it does come with full access to our benefits package


POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for the management of the Center's recreation program. Oversees the daily management of the recreation department and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues and concerns. Develops and implements a variety of programs to appeal to the entire student population. Promotes health and wellness, and publishes weekly and monthly recreation schedules. Is an active member of the Center's Healthy Eating And Living (HEALS) Committee and supports the coordination and management of the extended training day program.



Qualifications




QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum three years of experience in recreation management/physical education and a substantial experience working with youth. Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
