Job Overview:



Truck Operations is responsible for assisting customers with their truck and upfit vehicle ordering needs. This category has specific client, vendor & operational requirements that need to be delivered in order to ensure Wheels continues to meet the fleet and truck market demands.


The role of the Truck Services Supervisor is to train, develop and oversee the daily activities of the Truck Operations Coordinators and the Truck Services Specialists.


The Supervisor will interact with clients, drivers, suppliers and Wheels personnel.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Demonstrate Wheels Core Values in all interactions; Client Success, Integrity & Wheels Community

  • Lead the team that processes customers vehicle orders accurately and on time

  • Maintain and exceed departmental KPI's and goals

  • Employee growth and development for all direct reports including regular one on one meetings, administering reviews and corrective action when necessary

  • Develop standard operating procedures and ensure compliance

  • Identify and take corrective action when a problem or error occurs

  • Collaborate with internal departments to support warranty claims or repairs required due to production issues to ensure all vehicle orders are delivered accurately and on time. Maintain upfit catalog with accurate and complete data to support timely quote and order processing

  • Ensure supplier purchase orders are entered into Body PO accurately and on time

  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure that service levels are maintained

  • Maintain productive relationships with all preferred suppliers

  • Develop internal and customer facing reporting including metrics, score cards and benchmarking

  • Investigate, resolve, and mitigate issues from customers and vendors

  • Oversee order auditing to ensure all upfit order information is complete, accurate and logistically supported through the order to delivery process.

  • Oversee upfit invoice reconciliation.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of request management systems and processes

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE of



  • High school diploma or 3 years equivalent experience required

  • BA or BS is a plus

  • Experience in a customer service or supervisory role is preferred

  • Experience in the automotive or upfit industry is a plus




PHYSICAL DEMANDS



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard

Pay Range:
$64,000-$89,600
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
