The Senior Director, Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) will play a critical role in owning the Oracle ERP project and the on-going growth and optimization of our use of Oracle. The ideal candidate needs to be very strategic while overseeing the Oracle ERP Financial implementation and lead the ongoing support of the ERP environment. This individual will provide strategic leadership, build a high-performing team, and ensure integration alignment across IT and business units. The role involves partnering with the finance organization, CIO, and CFO to align ERP operations with organizational goals while driving the long-term ERP roadmap. The Sr Director will ensure that Wheels derives value from its IT investments and will focus on maintaining system availability, quality, and innovation. This individual will also be responsible for managing a team of direct reports accountable for maintaining and managing the Oracle integration and environment and overseeing a 3rd party partner that helps support the overall environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Project Leadership:
Lead the end-to-end ERP system implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to gather requirements and define project scope.
Responsible for developing and maintaining a strategic roadmap of the ERP system based on business needs working with CIO, CFO and other various leaders.
Develop, recommend, and execute strategies for ERP Implementations aligned with business goals and objectives.
Work with 3rd party implementation partners to align priorities and ensure the vendor meets expectations.
Identify potential risks and issues related to the ERP implementation and develop the necessary mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress, anticipate challenges, and implement correct actions as needed.
Ensure continued agreement on both risks and mitigation with project sponsors.
Technical Expertise
Deep understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud, including modules such as Financials, Procurement, Projects, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with other enterprise systems (e.g., HCM, CRM).
Familiarity with the Oracle EPM suite, including FCCS, FCM, ARCS, and EDM and how they relate/integrate to the ERP suite
Oversee the technical configuration, customization, and integration of the ERP system with existing IT infrastructure, supporting upstream and downstream interactions
Training and Change Management:
Work across functional teams to help with the change management needed to support the ERP implementation.
Partner within IT to ensure the successful adoption and implementation of the ERP

Maintain transparent communication with your staff, appropriately communicating organizational information through regular and one-on-one staff meetings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or better in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
Proven experience in leading ERP implementations, with a focus on Oracle Cloud
Ten (10) years leading a team that oversees the ERP, which has at a minimum an Oracle ERP Technical Lead and an Oracle PaaS Developer
Ten (10) years in overseeing a partner that assists in the Oracle ERP system maintenance, which includes EPM System Admin, ERP Cloud Financial Analyst, ERP Cloud Project Analyst, and an ERP Cloud Procurement lead
Minimum 10+ years leading IT teams and delivering ERP implementations, with specific experience in Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials preferred).
Experience in full life-cycle project development, including requirements, design, development, testing, and roll-out.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
ERP-specific certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Professional) is a plus
ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is a plus
JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: This role is located in Illinois or Georgia. This role follows a hybrid model, with certain days required in the office and others designated for remote work. There is an expectation to attend in-person meetings and collaborative sessions as needed.
Positions Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: Occasional travel (less than 20%) is expected for this position to visit with client.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly talk and hear, and use hands and fingers.

Pay Range: $169,100-$236,700 The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
