We are hiring an IT Coordinator to start immediately for a Law Firm. This is a 4 months contract position, 100% on site.
Essential Duties
Configure and install new or replacement PCs, smart phones, printers, video conference units, telephones, and other technology tools.
Ability to support various software and hardware environments, operating system environment(s), equipment platforms and legal support software.
Administer one-on-one training.
Perform troubleshooting steps to help resolve service incidents.
Capability to work successfully with limited supervision in an environment of multiple projects and priorities.
Collaborate with other IT professionals.
Follow firm's IT guidelines; assist others in understanding and following guidelines as appropriate.
Assist the System Administration team with tasks in various enterprise applications.
Assist the Call Center team with overflow as needed.
Track and document incidents and service requests via the firm's service desk software.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in a legal and/or technical support role.
Ability to manage tickets, phone and email requests with minimal supervision.
Strong working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and enterprise applications.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Proven organizational, customer service, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Ability to lift computer equipment up to 70 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
Experience with iManage document management system.
Experience with law firms and/or legal environments.
Experience with Citrix environments.
Education
College degree is preferred with substantial coursework in information systems or equivalent experience.
Certifications (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, etc.) are a plus.
