Description Overview Perrigo is searching for a Sr. Data Scientist to enhance its growing analytics capabilities. Reporting to the Manager of Advanced Analytics, the Sr. Data Scientist will be responsible for working with large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights and recommendations that will inform strategic HR decisions. You will collaborate with HR business partners, People Solutions HR analysts, and other stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions that improve the effectiveness of our HR programs and initiatives. Though the initial set of use cases will focus on the HR function, over time workloads will shift and this resource should have the knowledge & skillset to flex into use cases related to other functions like R&D, Commercial that have high value opportunities. Scope of the Role • Analyse large, complex datasets related to HR, such as employee demographics, performance, compensation, talent, learning and engagement data as well as data related to our HR case management & service delivery. • Create impactful data visualisations and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders. • Collaborate with HR business partners, analysts, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements in HR processes and programs. • Develop predictive models to identify trends and patterns, forecast outcomes, and inform HR decisions. • Generate monthly and quarterly insights packs distributed to Senior and Executive Leadership. • Design and implement methods to assess/measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs. • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness in all analyses and reports. Collaborate with relevant HR People Solutions teams • Work with the wider IT and other stakeholders to ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of HR data and analytics. • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in data science, HR analytics, and technology, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement in HR. Experience Required • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and SQL. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. • Familiarity with HR systems and technologies, such as HRIS and ATS. Previous experience with SAP SuccessFactors advantageous. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively about complex business problems. • Proficiency in statistical analysis and modelling techniques, such as regression analysis, machine learning, and data mining. • Familiarity with data visualisation and reporting tools, such as Power BI and building business facing analytics solutions. • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake and building production workloads in those environments. • Hands on work with Data Science Notebooks i.e. Jupyter Notebooks, LLMs, RAG methodologies etc • These skills are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field; combined with 6+ years of experience in data analysis, modelling, and visualization • Masters Degree and Experience in HR Analytics preferred Benefits We believe our people are our greatest asset.
