Overview
The main function is to develop sales strategies, brand recognition, relationships, and opportunities around inspection solutions for the new structural inspections service line in the Northeast US.
Responsibilities
Build a strong client network and identify key target client opportunities for inspection solutions in the structural inspection market including Structural, Bridge, and Crane Inspections
Establish JANX brand recognition and inspection service portfolio for structural inspections.
Demonstrate effectiveness in developing new business and maintaining existing business through the ongoing development of successful sales and marketing tactics to grow revenue year over year.
Deliver the Annual Revenue Budget for the structural inspections market by securing client orders in line with business strategy, budget plan and client goals.
Lead project kick offs for structural inspection projects providing technical guidance, staff scheduling and capabilities, and on-site client support.
Work with local operations managers for resource scheduling and planning.
Partner with the union for training, available staff and other union relations.
Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support and relationship building.
Conduct weekly or bi-weekly sales/business development meetings and prepare the required documentation to report sales funnel to Management; including targets, clients, and secured work.
Lead the quote, proposal and sales process in place to achieve annual plan for revenue; maintain clear communications between business development and operations teams.
Review market analysis to determine client needs, volume potential, price schedules, discount rates, and develop sales campaigns to accommodate goals for the Company.
Review analysis of business development activities, client relationships, market penetration and forecast data to determine progress toward goals and objectives.
Review regulatory requirements including proposed regulatory changes and market client solutions aimed at solving new and existing regulations or client problems.
Document and organize feedback from customer interactions to identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and other technology and service opportunities; provide feedback to Operational Support staff and leadership teams.
Answer customer and local sales team questions and inquires about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
Must maintain a strong focus on cross functional teamwork with both internal and external stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
10+ years of experience with inspections in the structural market including client relationships, market opportunities, and technical requirements.
A proven track record of client relationships and contract awards.
