RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an ETL Test Engineer in McLean, VA.

Summary:
As an ETL Test Engineer, you will be expected to perform manual and automation testing in validating data sources, extraction of data, applying transformation logic, and loading data into target tables, working closely with data engineering functions to ensure a sustainable test approach.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of ETL testing experience


• Testing experience in Data Engineering (Spark/PySpark and Data Bricks), Big Data Testing and Strong Python/PySpark scripting


• Strong working experience with AWS Services like Glue, EMR, etc.


• Experience with AWS Databases RDS PostgreSQL/AWS Redshift/ MS SQL Server/Mongo DB Database and highly proficient with complex SQL scripting to validate source/target data load and transformations


• Experience in Databricks data pipeline testing with Databricks/Spark framework in AWS cloud infrastructure


• Experience on different types of testing that includes Black Box testing, Smoke testing, Functional testing, System Integration testing, End-to-End Testing, Regression testing & User Acceptance testing (UAT) & Involved in Load Testing, Performance Testing & Stress Testing as needed


• Knowledge of applying the PySpark Data Frame API concepts using PySpark to complete data transformations/manipulation task's


• Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts, architecture & building blocks in areas ETL processing, Databricks Delta lake, Datawarehouse, dashboards and analytics

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
