The QA Analyst will work hand-in-hand with team(s) to perform manual testing activities within agile development iterations including, but not limited to:
Collaborating with the team to ensure testable user stories are created and estimated.
Identifying test conditions of satisfaction for user stories and testing tasks.
Developing, executing, and maintaining manual tests cases.
Capturing and reporting testing metrics.
Job Accountability/Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Perform applicable testing and verification using appropriate testing practices.
Strong data analytical skills.
Participate in all Agile planning activities, such as user story creation, point estimation, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Provide regular status to the project team on testing progress.
Log defects related to any issue identified while performing a manual test.
Document and maintain manual test case artifacts using the defined testing processes and best practices.
Review manual test cases with QA automation engineer(s) so they can automate manual test cases.
Experience coding using languages Python, and SQL preferred.
Developed SQL queries for Back-end testing/Database testing and participated in end-to-end testing.
Work efficiently within assigned project schedules.
Work effectively with all co-workers, team player.
Communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and oral.
Ability to balance priorities while working with and supporting multiple teams.
Understanding of SDLC and testing processes.
Exhibit ability to learn new information and apply to daily tasks.
Education, experience, certification/training:
Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science or equivalent field is desired but not required.
2+ years in a QA Analyst role with manual test case definition and execution experience.
Familiarity with cloud is desired.

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: The assignment involves sitting at the workstation (desk) most of the time (up to 8 hours) with only occasional walking and/or standing.
Keyboarding: Primarily using fingers for typing.
Talking: Expressing or communicating verbally through the use of spoken words (accurately conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others).
Hearing: Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.
Visual: Through close visual acuity, required to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing computer terminal; extensive reading (with or without correction).
Environment: Work is performed within an office setting and therefore there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions (i.e., extreme heat, cold, noise, etc.).
