Volt is immediately hiring a 2nd Shift - CNC Machinist in Fairview, Oregon.
Position: CNC Machinist Location: Fairview, Oregon Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Training on 1st shift) Pay: $25 - $32 per hour DOE + $1.17 per hour shift differential Bonuses: Monthly Bonus of 20% (Approximately $800+)
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Proficiency with CNC Lathes and/or CNC Mills
Skills: Strong understanding of CNC G & M code, blueprint reading, and machine shop mathematics. Competency in operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
Education: We welcome candidates who are new graduates and eager to gain hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
OperateCNC Mills and/or Lathes machinery
Execute and editG & M code, with an opportunity to prove new programs.
Performquality checks using fixed gauges and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
Suggestimprovements for tooling, setups, and programs to enhance efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, performing routine equipment maintenance.
