This role involves creating and managing technical documentation, including user manuals, service literature, operator guides, and installation instructions. The position has a strong emphasis on graphic design and technical artwork creation, with less focus on technical writing.
Key Responsibilities
Create technical artwork and designs using tools such as CAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and KeyShot (preferred but not required).
Develop, structure, and edit complex manuals and other documentation for global use.
Produce 3D renderings and visuals for technical publications, including parts, service, training, and user manuals.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the accuracy of data, drawings, and specifications.
Review content to ensure technical accuracy, proper terminology, and adherence to approval processes.
Streamline workflows and processes, with a focus on digitization and efficiency.
Maintain corporate identity and global design standards across documentation.
Support website updates and manage digital assets related to technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 4+ years creating technical support documentation or engineering materials; background in manufacturing, mechanical, or hydraulics industries is a plus.
Proficiency with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and familiarity with CAD tools, KeyShot, or SolidEdge is preferred.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with basic knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and programmable controllers.
Skilled in editing, proofreading, and layout design with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with a strategic, digitally focused mindset.
Experience in website/database integration and automation is an advantage.
Work Environment
