WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Cloud Support Technician is responsible for the everyday support for programs and events hosted at the center. Technicians ensure the centers are set up, maintained, and shut down based on the center's operating schedule. They maintain a professional environment for clients and staff during events and off hours. The Techs will work closely with stakeholders and the Operations Manager to ensure proper coverage and scheduling of events and programs.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Provide onsite support for visitors and executive level events
Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions
Ability to support and communicate with executive level clients (and higher)
Perform daily inspection and regular maintenance of hardware and software for internal platform
Execute regular preventative maintenance on all hardware
Diagnose network problems impacting one or many internal platform applications
Utilize remote access Mac, Linux, and Windows systems to control internal platform (via SSH, VNC; be able to navigate file systems on remote machines)
Work with Client Engineers to troubleshoot difficult internal problems
Adept in creating Technical Documentation
Items to Consider:
AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.
This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadline
Experience working in video conferencing, video production, or post production
Experience with G-Suite, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx
Knowledgeable with computer terminals and commands
Experience with Google Workspace administration
Excellent soft skill and readiness to demonstrate technology to high profile customers
Experience with video displays and content management system
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 - 3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred
Nice-To-Haves:
Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
