AAA Washington is looking for a Fleet Supervisor! In the Fleet Supervisor role, you would be responsible for oversight of the fleet department daily operations. Additionally, this role provides supervision and coaching to the fleet team. This role is on-site and will be located in Renton, WA.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the dispatch department obtain feedback on the team's service level and implement improvements to quality standards and customer relations if needed.
Oversee, facilitate, and foster effective communications between dispatchers and fleet drivers.
Provide guidance and assistance with escalated customer relations.
Responsible for investigating member complaints, damages and accidents and seeing the issue through to resolution.
Collaborate with Fleet Manager on daily operational issues as needed including scheduling.
Assist with emergency roadside service driving responsibilities.
Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.
Procurement of parts, tools, and vehicles as needed for the fleet and the company.
Oversee the mechanical repairs of AAA vehicles in Fleet shops as well as outsourced repairs.
Oversee the process of vehicle readiness reporting and repairs by technicians and mechanics.
Incorporates AAA's vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA's vision mission and values.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide direct supervision to the fleet service team members including fleet technicians, leads and mechanics.
• Responsible for developing people, improving processes, reducing costs, monitoring quality, delivering results against established objectives, and ensuring a high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Manages assigned employees by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning monitoring, appraising, and reviewing employee job contributions; maintaining compensation, resolving problems, and implementing change.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years' experience in automotive, roadside assistance, or customer service field
• 2+ years' experience in supervisory or leadership role
• Must be able to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements test
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate Degree (AA) or technical school certification
• ASE Certification or Towing & Recovery Certification preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
• Valid driver's license
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Competent in MS Office and navigating the internet.
• Ability to operate passenger vehicles and trucks with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Ability to operate electronic communication equipment.
• Knowledgeable of Washington state road systems.
• Knowledgeable of the fleet vehicle operating and safety guidelines.
• Ability to adjust style and approach to suit situations that involve rapidly changing tasks, shifting priorities, and simultaneous demands.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, including effective use of listening skills.
• Skilled in establishing rapport and gaining the trust of others.
• Ability to lead others, guiding them toward individual and organizational goals, and able to coach for performance.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. May work around moving objects or vehicles and will need to be aware of surroundings for personal safety.

SALARY RANGE:
The salary range for this position is $77,100 - $89,725 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual companywide discretionary bonus.
