Job Description Summary

Responsible for developing, managing and leading a team of Managers that are managing Project Managers who execute the client's clinical project portfolio. Ensure that all Project Management deliverables are met including SLA and KPI requirements. Support development of immediate and long-term client goals. Support the development of the annual capital budget including scoping and sequencing of projects, implementing the execution plan, and achieving program objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner. Develop strategic vision to advance program objectives, increase value delivered, and tailor project delivery methods to meet client stakeholder short- and long-term objectives.
Job Description


  • This role is the primary point of contact for the client's senior leaders regarding governance of all matters relating to project management services

  • Regularly interface with client's Sr. Leaders to govern and ensure successful delivery of project management services, client goals and objectives are established and achieved, performance action plans are implemented, anticipate/respond to all client needs, and generally act as a trusted advisor for comprehensive real estate work

  • Drives strategic direction of the Clinical project management team on the account

  • Work closely with the Team Leads with regard to proper staffing, future projects, and maintaining proper client relationships

  • Lead monthly portfolio reviews of the client's clinical project portfolio (Re-grounding) by reviewing and presenting program level reports illustrating program status, project health, financial forecasts and overall program delivery schedules.

  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk; collaborate with the client and PDS Project Teams to identify best practices and/or develop best-in-class solutions. Upon approval, partner with the Clinical Operations Leader to implement (i.e. change management) and execute across the project portfolio.

  • Communicate and collaborate with C&W's Space Management team and Integrated Facilities Management teams on a regular basis to align and coordinate on client facing communication, strategic coordination, and program activities and goals.

  • Ensure project level and portfolio reporting are accurate and timely

  • Observe corporate policies and procedures

  • Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards of work performance

  • Strive constantly to improve skills and work knowledge; keep up to date in the field of specialization

  • Cooperate with other personnel to achieve corporate goals and objectives as to quality, service, cost and profit

  • Report to immediate supervisor(s) major problems and findings and results achieved with recommendations

  • Obtain approval for organizational changes, team commitments, and personnel expenditures in excess of the approved annual budget

  • Establish annual goals and objectives with timetables for the overall clinical project delivery team

  • Actively search for and select subordinates with approval of appropriate supervisors; delegate to each necessary authority and responsibility for performance of assigned functions

  • When unsatisfactory service is identified, develop personnel improvement plans to correct the respective behavior(s). Closely monitor their performance, and, if necessary, terminate the employee.

  • Conduct annual performance reviews of all direct reports

  • When new personnel need to be added to the overall team (via growth and/or attrition), partner with Team Managers and the Clinical Operations team to recruit, interview and onboard successful candidates.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $140,250.00 - $165,000.00
