We promote overall health and quality of life through treatment services (evidenced-based therapies and medication management) that reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance abuse for individuals, youth, and families.

Under general supervision, performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Completes diagnostic formulations and appropriate assessments on clients with mental illness and substance use disorder.Collaboratively formulate a treatment plan addressing issues identified in assessments.Provide short-term individual and group therapy using evidence-based practice therapies for client with SPMI &/or SUDAssist clients in identifying, developing, and sustaining appropriate natural support systems.Provide psychoeducation around mental health, substance use, trauma, and recovery.Collaborate with other behavioral health and physical health providers to holistically address client needs.Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24hrs).Participate in clinical supervision to increase competence and professional development. Participate in on-call rotation to provide after hour coverage, via phone.Completes annual training requirements as outlined by agency and/or supervisor.Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
***Flexible weekly hours (ex. 8hrs/day, four 10s), Monday through Friday with some expanded hours, Hybrid work model***

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND eligibility to be licensed in the state of Georgia OR Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND associate licensure in the state of Georgia OR Masters degree in a related area from an accredited or university AND full clinical licensure in the state of Georgia

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Carlogic or other HER/EMR.Previous clinical experience working in Community Mental Health Care with SPMI, SUD, &/or Co-Occurring Disorders.Experience providing ASAM or substance use specific groups such as Dual Diagnosis, DBT, Seeking Safety.

Requirements/Competencies:
Must be able to lift 20 pounds.Requires long periods of sitting/standing.Must have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.Other duties as assigned.
