Join a 45+ year old MEP Engineering Firm as a Senior Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer, based mid-town Manhattan. Work on unique projects spanning Commercial, Residential, Education and other industry segments. Base salary circa $115k to $135k.
Your new role
Lead the design and development of plumbing and fire protection systems for various projects
Perform and review detailed calculations, system layouts, and specifications
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and standards, including NYC Building Codes and NFPA standards
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and designers
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards
Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to clients and stakeholders
Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and solutions
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background in plumbing and fire protection design, with the ability to manage and execute complex projects from inception to completion.
