Position Summary This position will be responsible for understanding production work orders, load tags, time sheets and all other relevant documents, palletizing instructions and GMP's.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Able to demonstrate basic math and measurement skills
Familiarity with the use of hand tools; including tape measures
Able to work at a brisk pace throughout an 8 - 12 hour shift in a non-sedentary position within a manufacturing environment
Perform procedural quality inspections and identify defects as compared to written product specifications
Able to read and follow all work instructions in a safe and effective manner
Demonstrate outstanding attention-to-detail while always achieving superior safety, quality and productivity standards
Develop Machine Operator qualifications by assisting Qualified Operators and through on-the-job training
Essential to this Position
Wage starting at $20.84
Monday - Friday 6 AM to 2 PM; weekends rare
Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
Understand production work orders, load tags, palletizing instructions, time sheets and all other relevant documents
Understand computer system and input of data
Perform quality checks on products (board grade, flutes, single face/double face sides and overall board quality) and identify defects
Maintain production efficiencies and standards
Perform miscellaneous job functions in an accurate and efficient manner, such as:
Packing
Palletizing
Bundling
Stacking
Sorting
Load Tags
Assist the Operators in efficient operation of the machine centers
Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

Education Required High School Diploma or Equivalent
Education Desired Technical Degree
Skills & Experience
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
Prior Power industrial Truck (PIT) / Forklift experience preferred
Basic computer skills - data entry
Prior Manufacturing or Industrial Services experience preferred
Satisfactory reading comprehension, communication, and interpersonal skills
Willing and able to complete pre-employment drug and criminal background screenings if presented with a conditional offer of employment
Must be willing and able to work mandatory overtime including weekends
