Adams & Martin Group is working with an insurance defense firm. We are seeking a Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This role involves handling personal injury and wrongful death claims in the pre-litigation phase.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze conditional policy limit demands and develop strategies to facilitate settlements.
Identify all claimants involved in an accident and facilitate settlement of all related claims.
Review insurance policies to confirm which clients are included in settlement agreements.
Secure required documentation for settlement compliance, such as client declarations and vehicle ownership proof.
Communicate regularly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel regarding case status.
Draft legal correspondence and settlement documents.
Ensure timely payment issuance to claimants.
Collaborate with team members on case strategy and settlement resolution.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills (written, phone, in-person).
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to handle a large caseload with multiple deadlines.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Education:
ABA Paralegal Certificate.
