About Supermicro:

Supermicro Computer is looking for experienced Product Manager in the Rack solutions team to help introduce and promote Rack solution products to potential customers. The individual must have deep understanding of rack solutions and the market trend and further promote SMC rack solutions precisely to fit customers' need. The ideal candidate would need to have the ability to identify potential customers, promote in-house solutions and build solid relationship with customer to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate would need to have the ability to identify potential customers, promote in-house solutions and build solid relationship with customer to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute effective strategies for product deployment based on a thorough understanding of technical requirements and customer needs in the data center space.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business partners and technical teams, to identify and resolve product-related challenges and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Engage in ongoing communication with customers to answer technical questions and address concerns, ensuring a responsive and supportive customer experience.
  • Create comprehensive positioning statements, marketing collateral, and sales training materials that clearly articulate product specifications and value propositions.
  • Attend trade shows and customer visits as needed, representing Supermicro and building relationships that enhance our market presence.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8years of hands-on experience in data center or server-related roles.
  • Proven experience in High-Performance Computing and Liquid Cooling solutions is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer concepts is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of system solutions such as OpenStack, Hadoop, VMware, and similar technologies is a plus.
  • Strong awareness of data center market trends, competitor analysis, and the strengths and weaknesses of existing and emerging products.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential; you must effectively engage with customers, promote products, answer inquiries, and assimilate feedback.

Salary Range

$156,000 - $181,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
