Your Role:
As the Head of End-to-End Value Stream ISCO Excellence, you will lead (and serve as the change agent) the E2E Lead Time & Agility improvement Program within our Integrated Supply Chain & Operations organization. You will also be the Operational Excellence business partner to our Value Streams from SLS & Process Solution. Your role is crucial to the successful strategy development & execution to deliver on our service, cash & cost targets & elevate our supply chain maturity to excellence VS benchmarks.
This position offers flexibility in location within Europe and the US, with options for remote or onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
You will lead E2E Lead Time and Agility improvement Program and related cross-functional teams, being accountable for transformation progress and driving capability building according to deployment methodology standards (to be defined). Your objective is to empower teams across the value streams to independently enhance lead time and agility after your initial support and that of any potential external consultants.
Program Lead & Business Partner Activities (80%):
Value Stream Preparation and Change Management: Oversee preparation activities, manage change, and facilitate communication
Kick-off & Training Bootcamp: Conduct initial training sessions to equip teams with necessary skills
Diagnostics and Maturity Assessment: Perform Value Stream diagnostic & maturity assessments and prioritize process improvement elements for implementation, considering effort and impact for tactical improvement initiatives
Tactical Improvement Plans: Define related Tactical Improvement Plans, including capability building
Implementation and Continuous Improvement: Implement improvements and develop a value stream specific continuous improvement and expansion plan
Performance & Control Tower Reporting: Establish regular performance reporting via control tower, drive digital solution and enhancements
Business partnering & Coaching:
After the initial deployment, you will continue to coach, support, and mentor Value Streams and key stakeholders throughout their continuous improvement and multi-year journey. This includes conducting progress reviews to ensure sustainability, expansion, and overall value stream maturity, thereby supporting the respective Strategy. You are also the business partner from an Operational Excellence perspective to the Value Streams supporting their tactical & strategic improvement plans.
Global Element Ownership (20%):
In addition to deployment activities, you will play a vital role to connect with & support our Production System by assuming the responsibilities of a Global Element Owner and Single Point of Contact for E2E Lead Time & Agility improvement element. This includes:
Element Standards: Continuously improve the production system content and standards related to your specific element, including guidebooks, training materials, and maturity assessments
Global Engagement: Participate in Global Community Meetings and collaborate with experts worldwide
SME Leadership: Act as the global subject matter expert for your element, fostering a network of local Site SMEs
Workshops and Training: Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance capabilities within the network
Who You Are
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree - Supply Chain/Business Administration/Process engineering or a related field
At least 10+ years of work experience in leading supply chain, operations
Demonstrated experience in program management & implementing improvement initiatives with impactful results
Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Black Belt accreditation
Must be open to traveling up to 30% as needed
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree / MBA
APICS or equivalent certification
15+ years of work experience in leading supply chain, operations
Developed cultural acumen through experience working with global and virtual teams
Strategic minded while having the ability to focus and execute on the critical actions
Highly influential and able to sell ideas and approaches
Solid coaching and mentoring competency
Able to influence change without direct authority across hierarchical levels
