Your Role:
Do you have a natural affinity to influence and/or sell to all levels of an organization? Do you have knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotech drug production processes/unit operations. The role of Senior Account Manager for MilliporeSigma's North America Process Solutions Americas group is to consistently increase market share and revenue by collaborating with pharma and biotech customers and prospects to solve their unique challenges. This role will primarily be focused in the North Carolina area with select accounts. As a member of the Process Solutions team, you will be responsible for a broad portfolio of products used in GMP manufacturing. In this role, you must have a command of forecasting, strategic territory planning and proactive selling approach, while maintaining customer relationships. Must be flexible and willing to travel within territory (with occasional overnight stays) to optimize customer engagement. Occasional international travel as needed.
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be located in North Carolina
Bachelor's degree in bioprocessing sciences, chemical, biochemical engineering or similar discipline
5+ years of experience in Life Sciences industry
Working knowledge of purification, filtration, single use, separation sciences and raw material technologies for biotech manufacturing across upstream and downstream processing
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cell culture media is a plus
Able to network and maintain strong relationships, credibility and trust
Self-motivated, assertive, takes initiative and works independently
Effective prioritization and time management skills to achieve sustainable results
A committed learner, dedicated to continuously increasing knowledge and skills
Decisive: knows how to build a solid case and can drive a decision when appropriate
