Our clinical clients will include but will not be limited to those patients seen within the Meharry Medical Group, Meharry Clinics, Meharry students and staff in addition to those patients within the Anchor phlebotomy network. Our goal will be to expand reimbursable clinical pathology services to patients and in addition serve as a reference laboratory. Your recruitment and role are essential to this success and it is expected that you will work closely with Dr. Barsky and his clinical laboratory team to ensure this goal. Clinic/Outpatient expectations include:
You will be expected to engage in a consistent record of positive classroom contributions to include instruction, innovative teaching, and course development-teaching both undergraduate and graduate trainees, mentoring and advising students and residents. Time spent on academic committees, curriculum development and supervision, as well as interviewing is included in this percentage.
