Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level) with SQL knowledge preferred

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations
Lead month-end and year-end close processes and coordinate balance sheet reviews
Prepare financial statements, perform reconciliations, and manage sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
Oversee intercompany reconciliations and revenue recognition
Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform quarterly and year-end external audit coordination
Handle treasury functions, including cash management and bank reconciliations
Manage credit and collections, prepare journal entries, and maintain accurate accounting records
Collaborate with outside tax accountants for tax compliance
Participate in additional special projects as needed
Skills & Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, U.S. GAAP) and experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements
Advanced Excel proficiency with familiarity using ERP systems
Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead within a team environment
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification is highly desired
Proven experience in accounting, with solid business acumen and adaptability to changing environments
