Position Overview:
As an entry-level litigation attorney, you will play a vital role in supporting our labor and employment litigation team. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of litigation, including case preparation, legal research, drafting pleadings, and participating in discovery. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney looking to develop their litigation skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in prelitigation phases of labor and employment litigation.
Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation strategies.
Draft and prepare litigation documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and discovery requests.
Participate in depositions and hearings, gaining valuable litigation experience.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation planning.
Manage case files and maintain organized records of litigation activities.
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel regarding litigation matters.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in CA
Strong interest in labor and employment law and litigation.
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
