About this opportunity
Reporting to the Warehouse/Distrib. Ops Mgr, the Kitting Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Kitting Department.

When your actions lead to success:
  • Print all required job documents (job jackets, labels, packing slips);
  • Collate job documents per docket;
  • Assign daily jobs to Line Leads with the assistance of Kitting Manager;
  • Help locate/set up printed product for Kitting Lines;
  • Communicate with CSR’s on missing job requirements;
  • Calculate box requirements for upcoming jobs;
  • Update daily kitting list on job completion;
  • Send daily email updates as assigned by Kitting Manager;
  • Attend daily Scheduling meetings as assigned by Kitting Manager;
  • Work effectively with team to ensure and maintain quality, accuracy and productivity throughout the production shift;
  • Receive a?nd validate counts for Kitting;
  • Ensure packing slips are followed for each locations kit;
  • Order necessary supplies, boxes, tape and labels;
  • Ensure product quality and packaging is appropriate and completed in a timely fashion;
  • Assist and offer ideas that will help the Kitting Team improve their overall performance;
  • Monitor the performance of employees & provide feedback for the review process;
  • Identify & make recommendations regarding skills requirements;
  • Work overtime hours as required;
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

When your expertise drives us
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Tow Motor License is required
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Kitting/Warehouse Lead
• Strong skills in PC-based software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Strong capability to work with management on all levels within the organization and harmoniously within a team environment is required
• Exceptional attention to detail and good command of the English language (read, write, speak) with respect to:
o Understanding and following all verbal and written instructions
o Completing paperwork and requisitioning of materials accurately and efficiently
o Complying with safety procedures and processes
• Effective communication skills: internal and external customers
• Strong skills in problem identification and solution-oriented problem solving
• Physical ability to lift up to 20lbs unassisted;
• Ability to work independently and harmoniously within in a team environment;
• Well organized, proactive and positive approach in the work place.
