Underthe supervision of the Support Services Supervisor, coordinates, dispatches andschedules patient transport, messenger, and Laundry Services. Responds and follows up all patient issuesvia Host Line. The department's hours ofoperation is from 7:00 a.m. - 11:30p.m., Sunday through Saturday includingholidays.
Qualifications
Required:
Ability to read andcommunicate effectively in English. Abilityto withstand the pressures of continual deadlines and receipt of work withvariable requirements. Ability to work independently. Ability to work as a teamplayer. Ability to concentrate and maintain accuracy in spite of frequentinterruptions. Ability to be courteous, tactful, and cooperative throughout theworking day. Computer knowledge, ability to quicklygain competency in various software applications including hospital specificsoftware applications.
High School graduateor equivalent, with additional computer applications training and supervisoryor managerial courses necessary.
Minimum of 1-year supervisory experienceand customer service training preferred.
