In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production process for our batched goods, ensuring we meet output targets efficiently and safely. You will lead a team of production personnel, ensuring adherence to quality standards and established procedures.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily production activities for assigned batching operations.
Develop and maintain production schedules, assigning tasks and prioritizing workloads for optimal efficiency.
Monitor production lines and ensure adherence to quality control standards.
Identify and address production issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
Train and coach production personnel on safe operation of equipment and proper batching procedures.
Maintain accurate production records and reports, including batch quantities, quality control data, and production times.
Conduct routine safety checks and enforce all safety protocols within the production area.
Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure proper equipment functionality and timely repairs.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize production efficiency.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisor role, preferably with batching operations.
Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices.
