RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Business/Systems Analyst to work in their Saint Louis (MO) office 4 days onsite, 1 work from home day.

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting technical teams, particularly those working on microservices-based projects. The role requires a deep understanding of web services, technical requirement documentation, and agile methodologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed technical requirements


• Translate business requirements into technical artifacts for development teams, such as Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), System Design Documents (SDDs), and Technical Specification Documents (TSDs)


• Design and interpret process flow diagrams to support project development


• Utilize tools like Postman, SoapUI, Visio, Jira, and Confluence to support project tasks


• Engage in web services integration, including RESTful and SOAP, with a basic understanding of XML, JSON, and Swagger


• As a Business Systems Analyst, you will write SQL queries of simple to low complexity to assist in data analysis and support project requirements


• Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful project delivery within agile environments


• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting information clearly and concisely

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience supporting teams developing web services, including RESTful and SOAP


• Proficiency with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Visio, Jira, and Confluence


• Basic SQL knowledge and ability to write simple to low-complexity queries


• Experience in creating and understanding process flow diagrams


• Strong experience in gathering and documenting technical requirements


• Experience in Agile methodologies


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Proactive and eager to learn new skills and technologies

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the cable or telecommunications industry


• Familiarity with Telecom Billing Systems, particularly CSG


• Experience with Business Process or Decision Rule Engines (e.g., DMN) and Business Process Modelling (e.g., BPMN)


• Knowledge of Camunda, Pega CDH, or Unleash platforms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
