Position Title: Technical Writer 4




Location: Remote




Anticipated Start Date: ASAP




Expected Duration: Initial 3+ Months




Payrate : $55/hr on W2 - $65/hr on W2



Summary:


The main function of a Technical Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.


Must have experience with below skills:


1. Minimum 8-10 years experience with technical writing tools and skills.


2. Minimum 8-10 years experience with GitHub


Hard Skills Assessments


* Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: ASAP.


* Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include NA.


* Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have portfolios or writing samples prepared prior to the assessment.


Job Responsibilities:


* Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology


* Maintain records and files of work and revisions


* Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication


Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or english, journalism, communications


* 8-10 years experience required


* Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience


* Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills


* Ability to read some programming code


* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
