Purpose of Role This role will be part of Claire's Transformation Office, known as the Value Creation Office (VCO). The Associate for the Transformation and VCO team will report into the Executive Director and will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Value Creation Plan.
This individual will be responsible for: 1) Managing the Value Creation Plan to unlock maximum impact for Claire's, 2) executing all day to day needs of the transformation office, and 3) supporting select initiatives delivery in partnership with the Executive Director This role requires close collaboration with senior members of Claire's ELT and a highly detail-oriented project management capability to ensure the entire organization remains on-track to reaching its impact targets This is a unique opportunity to help lead Claire's transformation. It is a critical role in the organization, with very high visibility to the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team.
Main Responsibilities Manage Value Creation Plan to unlock maximum impact for Claire's
Build and refine central VCP progress tracker
Ensure continuous update VCP progress tracker, noting outstanding action items, workstream status, team recognition, and flags for the ELT SteerCo
Daily and weekly maintenance of tracker required
Executing all day-to-day needs of the transformation office
Prepare all materials for all VCO meetings (1:1s, SteerCos, etc.,) with keen attention to detail, ensuring most critical items are flagged
Refine materials for VCO meetings with Executive Director and CTO
Support weekly VCO meetings, including action tracking, driving discussion and coordinating logistics; eventually lead select 1:1 meeting with ELT members
Continuously refine VCP on an as-needed basis
Stand up VCP KPI Tracker and supporting reporting, in partnership with Analytics Team, CIO, Executive Director
Continuously identify Initiative roadblocks or delays and work with Executive Director to define actions needed to unblock
Supporting select initiatives delivery in partnership with the Executive Director
Support high-priority initiative with Executive Director (ad-hoc analyses, work planning, status tracking, etc.,)
Education and/or Certifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
Essential Criteria
3-5 years of professional experience (can be less if experience is strong)
3+ years of experience working in professional service environments preferred, especially management consulting or investment banking, is highly preferred
Distinctive project management capabilities
Self-starter with high levels of intellectual curiosity
Distinctive communication skills with senior executives
Impact oriented mindset: vocal problem-solving partner with a drive to outcomes
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high pace environment
Strong analytical toolkit with foundational understanding of Retail Math and P&L; ability to translate analytics insights into business actions
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation Range: $67,704.00 - $90,272.00
Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
