Position Summary:
The Administrative Analyst is responsible for conducting special research studies, analyzing data, preparing statistics, making recommendations based on research findings, and monitoring and coordinating project/program activities. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Gather and compile monthly analysis of department data on incoming calls, surveys, and ID entries.
Coordinate plans for financial aid presentations at high school, college, and A-State events; manage all details for events hosted by Financial Aid and Scholarships.
Assist director and supervisory staff as requested in creation, proofreading, and editing of documents and publications for the department; assist with research and formatting of information for presentation to intended audiences.
Initiate and follow through to completion all procurement, travel, personnel, and budget processing; monitor department expenditures and account balances; provide budget status updates as requested.
Maintain department email and calendar of important dates including financial aid presentations on and off campus, dates from Academic Calendar, Treasurer's Office, Registrar, and employee out-of-office schedules.
Maintain inventory and records on department IT devices and peripherals (office-based and portable) assigned to Financial Aid and Scholarships staff; order and monitor stock of office supplies for staff use.
Monitor Finesse call manager application throughout the day to assess call team status and assist with answering phone as needed; assist with department email account monitoring during peak periods and when primary monitors are out.
Serve as liaison between Financial Aid and Scholarships department and university departments and outside vendors regarding in-office services (copiers, shredding, IT, office maintenance.)
Serve as office manager, providing guidance or assistance on process and procedural matters as requested.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of planning, research, and analysis techniques and procedures. Knowledge of department operations, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Ability to plan and execute systems and organizational analysis and feasibility studies. Ability to conduct research and perform quantitative quality assurance reviews. Ability to research, prepare, and present comprehensive written and oral reports. Ability to organize and conduct meetings and workshops.

Ability to collect, compile, analyze and record data for spreadsheet use.
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor's Degree in public administration, general business, or a related field
