YOUR ROLE
Lead a team of Solution Design engineers to support the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities, renewals of current customer contracts, and re-engineering operations for current customers.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Lead the team of engineers to support proposals, renewals and re-engineering activities to support CEVA Business Growth and Retention objectives
Hire/train/upskill Solution Design engineers
Continuous improvement of all engineering processes within the Solution Design team
Work with BDs and Program Managers to schedule, prepare and submit proposals and/or renewals on a timely basis
Lead the team of Solution Design engineers to support other operational improvements as requested
Incorporate green initiatives into Ceva proposals when appropriate and in conjunction with employee support of local communities
Collaborate with Solution Design and local Operations & Facilities teams to define facility layouts & racking elevations changes.
Implement CEVA standards related to LEAN, Continuous Improvement, Tier Boards, and KPIs.
Partner with the Operations team to propose process optimization projects improve efficiency, safety, & quality, ensure successful execution of projects
Observe operations and ensure work instructions are adhered to and reflective of the actual process.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field of study
Minimum 3 years Logistics & Distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions
3PL or like experience preferred.
E-commerce and Omni channel fulfilment experience.
Six Sigma and LEAN certifications a plus.
Skills:
Experience in engineering Distribution Centers
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Data Analysis, process mapping tools, Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint. Knowledge of WMS functionality.
Experience in warehouse automation applications
Characteristics:
Strong interpersonal communication skills demonstrated a history of developing relationships and building trust, and an ability to work independently & in a team environment.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions.
