The Leidos QTC Health Services CTO team is seeking motivated and talented college students who are currently studying Software Engineering or Data Science/AI to join our dynamic team in support of the company’s overall IT modernization and corporate growth goals.

What our CTO team does:


The Leidos QTC Health Services CTO’s team has been charged with assessing our current capabilities and doing two things: One, find ways to leverage these capabilities with new customers and markets. Two, bring in new technology to make existing processes better (e.g., more efficient, more secure), or to bring in capabilities that are not part of our core that will benefit the company and its customers. This will be achieved in short, proof of concept projects that align to a larger roadmap of technical or contractual capabilities. The proof of concepts will take place in a pre-production environment but will include a path to production should the project prove valuable to the company.  This is a great opportunity to learn about Leidos QTC Health Services and provide innovative thought into growing the company.


Data Scientist Interns will gain experience w/:

Requirements:



  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or related field and typically maintain a Minimum GPA 3.0.

  • Ability to work full time as a summer/winter intern but desired for candidate to be able to work part time now

  • Quick learner, able to adapt to changing technologies and priorities

  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership ability through community or campus involvement

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.


Desired:



  • Prior experience or classroom training related to software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, technology, business management, project management or IT support is preferred 

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.

  • Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).


Pay Range: $28.50 – $31.50 per hour
