Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking Training Specialist to join the Team!

This role conducts computer-based training courses to teach the use and/or integration of currently assigned Mission Command and Live, Virtual, Constructive Simulation Systems or their replacements, to MCoE POI Courses, MCoE Tenant Units, and Non-Tenant Units supported by the MCoE, as required.


The mission is to provide services for conducting computer based digital instruction of MC and ABCS, simulations network administration, simulation system administration, maintenance and operations for any Government Furnished Equipment/Systems used at Clarke Simulations Center.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic operator training for Force Twenty-One Battle Command Brigade and Below-Blue Force Tracker (FBCB2-BFT) and/or Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P) and/or its replacement IAW TM 11-7010-326-10 and/or its replacement.
  • Conduct basic operator training for the Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), IAW TM 11- 7010-538-13&P, 150-TBCB-0330 CPCE Operators Course and/or its replacement.
  • Revise digital training and exercise support materials for MCoE instruction of assigned MC, C2, and constructive exercise systems within ten working days after OPORDs are received.
  • Develop and maintain, in a current state, a detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which provides a working reference for both the conduct of daily business and support of digital training, MC constructive exercises, and Live, Virtual, Constructive-Gaming (LVC-G) systems, IAW the PWS and following the format used in the MCoE Simulations Training Division SOP.
  • Perform daily operational checks of classroom computers, Systems, and Networks used in the instruction of MC systems/simulations and audiovisual equipment in accordance with standards established by the MCoE
  • Provide Live, Virtual, Constructive-Gaming (LVC-G) integration support, analyzing student performance during LVC-G training and/or exercises, through every phase of each mission. In this context, the contractor provides verbal and written advice, counsel, and assistance to exercise unit operations personnel before, during, and after LVC-G exercises, and additionally provides feedback to the student using the AAR process IAW TC 25-20 at the completion of the exercise



Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years military training experience must possess or be able to get a CAC and be familiar with CAC handling procedures.
  • Must have extensive experience with Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) and MCIS Integration in support of CP Operations.
  • Must be familiar with the Clarke Simulations Center course materials and curricula
  • Must possess strong background on JCATS, DXTRS, CPCE, JBC-P, VBS3 and other systems, tools, and technology in use at the Clarke Simulations Center.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Work will be performed at an active Military Installation
  • Familiarity with CAC card procedures; existing CAC holder preferred
