LJB Inc., a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm, seeks a candidate to fill a full-time or part-time Reality Capture Internship position. You will be expected to immediately impact our firm as we seek the best methods to serve our clients. You must exhibit a professional attitude, innovative ideas, problem-solving capability, and a willingness to collaborate while being able to work independently.
Pay: $18+ an hour
REALITY CAPTURE INTERN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Utilize various software tools for data analysis, feature extraction, and modeling of existing conditions.
Periodically work hands-on with UAS systems and lidar equipment, including assembly, disassembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
Act as a visual observer for the Pilot in Command (PIC).
Assist with mission planning and acquisition of restricted airspace waivers.
Verify the accuracy of acquired data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
Lifting requirements: 50-100 lbs.
Additional Responsibilities:
Outdoor work environment subject to hot/cold temperatures and uneven terrain.
Familiarity with iOS, Android, and Windows Operating Systems on both desktop and mobile environments.
Desire to innovate and solve complex problems from inception to final deliverable.
Ability to react quickly and calmly to high-pressure situations.
Organized with attention to detail.
Accurate data entry skills.
REALITY CAPTURE INTERN ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Education:
High school diploma required; some college preferred.
6 months or more of field experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
Experience with and desire to troubleshoot electronic equipment, software, and technology.
Willing to obtain FAA Part 107 drone pilot license.
