Overview

The DevSecOps Engineer will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to build, maintain, and secure the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports Agile technical platform team/CICD pipelines implementation and sustainment.
  • Develops GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Automates configurations within Kubernetes.
  • Supports cloud networking and routing for DNS, TLS, and Ingress/Egress.
  • Maintains and hardens Base Images.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in application monitoring for customer solution teams
  • Provides subject matter expertise in logging formalities, aggregation tools, and basic metric analysis for customer solution teams


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a similar science and engineering discipline

OR

  • 4+ years of work experience

Experience:

  • 4+ years experience with SW development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) DevSecOps (DSO), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • 4+ years experience with secure development, coding, and engineering practices

Proficient In

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI) and practices
  • Helm
  • Kubernetes
  • Python
  • Linux
  • Front-end development
  • Back-end development

Preferred Experience (includes Minimum)

  • Strongly preferred experience with Splunk, Loki, Prometheus, CloudWatch

Certifications

  • Must be able to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Must be able to obtain an operating system certification within 90 days of hire.
