TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Digital Field Engineer III in Atlanta, GA.

This role will provide technical support to the field and digital transformation organizations for the latest in connected services (MAX) and related IoT based tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Provides technical direction to the field, Digital Transformation (DTX) and engineering organizations covering one or more product lines of the company's current portfolio via the Digital Operations Center and related tools

  • Leads the preparation of product requirements, documentation and strategy for field use.

  • Instructs others technically in products and processes.

  • Provide recommendations for service efficiency gains that maximize uptime for customers.

  • Define user requirements for Digital Operations Center and related mechanic or technician facing tools.

  • Performs beta or other testing to provide performance feedback to the Quality, R&D Engineering and DTX groups.

  • Train Field Mechanics, Area Adjustors and Support Engineers at all levels as needed.

  • Develop self into a subject matter expert in digital tools & related services for multiple product lines.

  • Works under the minimal supervision of the Head of Digital Services.

  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain a valid passport


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field of study preferred or 8 years relevant elevator work experience.

  • QEI Certification a plus.

  • NEIEP or NEII Certification.

  • Quality System Training Desired.

  • Eight years or more equivalent elevator work experience required.

  • Experience or education in one of the following: hydraulics, static motor drives, microprocessors and electronics.

  • Must be able to possess a valid passport.

  • Must possess the ability to work with test equipment and hand tools as required.

  • Must possess customer service and problem-solving skills.

  • Must possess decision making and analytical skills.

  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to closely follow, troubleshoot and create instructions and pre-established procedures/SOP to perform the functions of the job.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
