As the CSFC Cyber Security Analyst, the individual will be responsible for all registration and supporting documents for the NSA CSFC program. In this role, the CSfC Security Analyst will use the market's most modern commercial hardware and software technologies within National Security Systems (NSS) in order to achieve mission objectives. NSA/CSS's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Program has been established to enable commercial products to be used in layered solutions protecting classified NSS data. This will provide the ability to securely communicate based on commercial standards in a solution that can be fielded in months, not years. Work and coordinate DoD RMF tasks (all 7-steps), prepare documentation, and coordinate with engineers to verify compliance.

This is a full-time remote role with up to 25% travel

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the NSA CSFC PMO on all CSFC related documents and statuses
  • Coordinates with the NCDSMO/ACDSMO PMO on all CDS related documents and status
  • Prepares documentation for NCDSMO and CSfC submissions
  • Prepares documents required for NSA registration (Checklist, Annex, Deviations, ConOps, etc.)
  • Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports describing the task status in accordance with to report template
  • Reviews NSA registration artifacts (e.g., SSP, POA&M, MOU/MOA, topology, network architecture, PPSM, policies and procedures, HW/SW lists.) for CSFC compliance
  • Supports CT&E or DT&E activities of system security engineering and program protection activities
  • Coordinates all RMF related tasks, prepare SSP, schedule, policy and procedures
  • Acts as the Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert
  • Consults in other projects when needed
  • Continues education and learning new and evolving technology
  • Performs other tasks as required by BME and the Government contracting office

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have and maintain and active Secret Security Clearance
  • Must have an active DoDI 8570.01 IAM II certification
  • Minimum 5-7 years cybersecurity professional experience
  • Exposure to IT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity-related tasks
  • Show expertise in FISMA assessments of cybersecurity control compliance in accordance with DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, CNSSI 1253, and the Cybersecurity Strategy
