Description: Our client is currently seeking a Network Engineer III/ON SITE in Denver/Colorado Springs
- The position requires a government security clearance (DoD Secret - minimum, Top Secret - desired); you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Candidate will be a primary Network Engineer supporting the company's program.
-Candidate will be responsible for planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the C2BMC network to operational sites.
-Candidate will be responsible for traveling to remote locations to lead and perform network installations, independently perform troubleshooting, and provide status updates to Program personnel.
-Must be a proven network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies.
-Must have an understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
-Must have network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
-Must have firewall experience - especially Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
-Must have experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
-Must have hands on experience with multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
-Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.
-Must thrive and do your best work in a collaborative and agile environment.
-Must understand standard DOD security practices such as, STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts.
-Familiarization with virtualization technologies
- NFV, SDWAN, VMware, VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, vSAN, and Aria (Desired)
-Experience with network automation using Ansible (Desired)
-Prior C2BMC experience (Desired)
-The position requires an IAT Level II 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
-The position requires a government security clearance (DoD Secret - minimum, Top Secret - desired); you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Education: The position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT), or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
