We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian to join our team of talented and dedicated providers. Avance provides integrated, whole person care in a collaborative environment and our team of highly engaged dietitians enjoy a supportive team environment.

This position will be primarily onsite but will include a combination of onsite and virtual care.

Minimum Requirements:

Licensed as a Registered Dietitian with the North Carolina Board of Dietetics and Nutrition
Minimum of two years clinical nutrition experience
Experience counseling people with diabetes
Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, highly preferred, or able to get within 2 years of hire

The Clinical Dietitian II:

Conduct assessments, develop care plans using the nutrition care process, monitor on-going medical conditions, and provide nutrition education and counseling to patients.
Provide appropriate nutrition and diabetes education and counseling services to individual patients, families, and groups
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and to identify education and nutritional needs of patients with nutrition-related medical conditions
Contribute to the nutrition services department through work on other projects and program development efforts
Participate in department projects and precepting of interns
