Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations.


• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments in the production process.


• Track and report department production statistics on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to the Management and Operations Teams during monthly and bi-annual meetings.


• Administer company policies and procedures.


• Foster a strong team environment with effective communication between shifts and departments.


• Enforce all safety rules and regulations, ensuring strict adherence to safety policies by direct reports and hourly workforce.


• Manage pay changes, performance evaluations, discipline, and vacation scheduling for the Finishing department.


• Occasionally fill in for Shift Supervisors.


• Complete assigned tasks promptly and efficiently.


• Serve as a member of the Safety Committee.


• Ensure compliance with all company-wide and department-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs), including:
  
  
  • Employee Health and Safety
  
  
  • SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to eliminate contaminants in packaging.
  
  
  • SGP (Sustainable Green Printer) environmental regulatory procedures.
  
  
  
  


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise hourly and salaried employees across multiple shifts.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of management experience in flexible packaging operations (Extrusion, Lamination, Slitting, etc.).


• Basic mechanical skills.


• Strong problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to analyze P&L results for specific departments and operations using manufacturing statistics and data.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft products and manufacturing ERP systems.
