Production Planner at COIM USA INC. in West Deptford, New Jersey

Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Planning & Scheduling:
o Develop and maintain production schedules for one or more production units.
o Run monthly S&OP for the assigned business lines.
o Analyze all businesses' monthly forecasts and suggest adjustments where needed to Demand Planned and Business Manager.
o Coordinate with Raw material planner and other team members to ensure seamless integration of schedules across all units.
o Review Customer orders daily and communicate to Customer Service and warehouse team for any deviation to the shipment plan.
o Closely work with the Production team to ensure that production schedules are optimized for maximum production maintaining the product quality.
o Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and optimize efficiency.
o Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
o Actively participate in SMOG meetings to help disposal of non-moving inventory.
Inventory Management:
o Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of raw materials and finished products.
o Collaborate with the raw material planner to optimize inventory management processes.
o Conduct regular inventory audits by talking to Inventory Coordinator and reconcile discrepancies.
o Implement strategies to reduce waste and improve inventory turnover.
Dynamics 365 Integration:
o Collaborate with the IT team to integrate Dynamics 365 into existing business processes.
o Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using Dynamics 365.
