SUMMARY: The Marketing Content Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening Baker Electric’s brand presence, driving lead generation across all applicable operational groups, and supporting our growing focus on brand credibility and business development. This position is responsible for curating, creating, and managing marketing content that aligns with Baker Electric’s strategic goals. By maintaining brand consistency, developing high-quality marketing collateral, and supporting sales and business development initiatives, this role ensures a unified and impactful marketing approach across the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Development & Strategy
Act as the central content strategist, proactively gathering project updates, insights, and success stories from all Baker Electric operational groups.
Translate technical, industry-specific, and business development content into engaging, market-ready materials for a variety of audiences.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive content library for use across marketing, sales, and business development channels.
Create and refine website content, blog articles, case studies, sales collateral, and email campaigns to enhance brand storytelling and lead generation.
Brand Leadership & Asset Management
Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all internal and external marketing assets.
Conduct regular brand audits to update and enhance marketing materials such as pitch decks, brochures, proposals, and email templates.
Manage website content updates, ensuring messaging stays relevant and impactful for lead generation and sales.
Business Development & Sales Support
Act as the marketing liaison for Business Development teams, regularly gathering insights to identify content gaps and opportunities.
Develop and manage a repository of sales collateral, presentations, and proposal content to support business growth.
Ensure that Business Development teams have polished, up-to-date materials that effectively communicate Baker Electric’s value propositions.
Marketing & Demand Generation
Collaborate with internal teams to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and nurture prospects.
Support and oversee social media content strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
Assist in planning and executing event marketing and sponsorship initiatives to maximize brand exposure and business opportunities.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION:
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to translate complex technical information into compelling marketing content.
Experience with content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and social media scheduling tools.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Proactive and comfortable engaging with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive content development.
Prioritizing and multitasking abilities are critical, along with an ability to provide routine reporting and follow-through
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in solar, energy storage, renewables and/or other energy efficiency-related industries a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
